Terms and Conditions

Doze with Donna services are undertaken under the following Terms and Conditions (T&Cs). Please read them carefully.

1. The acceptance of a Virtual or Home Consultation, or support package in your home will be deemed as acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

 

2. I, Donna, have undertaken extensive training and research into sleep, gaining a qualification through Positively Parenthood sleep school. I am not medically trained; my advice is not a medical diagnosis and should not be treated as such. However, I can support the identification of issues relating to sleep and suggest when medical support may be necessary. You should always seek advice of your doctor or health visitor should you have any concerns about your child’s health or specific medical condition.

 

3. Doze with Donna strongly advises that all parents follow the SIDS guidelines when dealing with their child’s sleep. Please refer to the Lullaby Trust www.lullabytrust.org.uk  

 

4. The fee for Doze with Donna services is due in advance of the initial consultation.

 

5. In the event of an unforeseeable or emergency situation, Doze with Donna reserves the right to cancel any bookings made, with however short a period of notice as is necessary by Doze with Donna. Should this occur then a full refund will be provided.

 

6. If the package is cancelled by you, the client, the following terms and conditions apply:

  • Less than 48 hours notice: 50% refund  

  • More than 48 hours: full refund

 

7. Doze with Donna accepts that whilst working with small children there are sometimes situations where consultations or home visits need to be cancelled due to illness. If in the event the client needs to postpone due to illness, Doze with Donna will endeavour to work with the client to arrange another date and there will be no additional charge or cancellation fee as long as the same service is rebooked within one month.

 

8. All my methods are tried and tested and work for the majority of families I work with, however, Doze with Donna does not accept responsibility or liability for sleep coaching that does not achieve the required results during the support package process. Doze with Donna sleep plans are designed to have the baby/child sleeping well within a specific time frame; however the parent accepts responsibility for this success.

 

9. Doze with Donna advises that the parents are consistent and stick to the sleep plan provided in order to achieve success. Provided there are no underlying physiological conditions disrupting sleep, the outcome of the sleep training depends highly on parental consistency and therefore by agreeing to undertake the sleep training, the parents agree to working alongside the sleep coach to achieve the best results possible. It will work – it just takes time and consistency!

 

10. Any medical or feeding concerns about your baby or child should be expressed in the early consultation stages of sleep training so that Doze with Donna can address these before putting together a plan.

 

11. The Sleep Plan will be written and sent through via PDF email format within 48 hours of the initial consultation.

 

12. Doze with Donna works closely with clients to ensure that you get the results you would like for your babies and children. In the small number of cases that you don’t see progress with the plan, there is always a reason and we will suggest alternatives and look into medical and dietary issues with you. During this process, you will need to work with us closely and be willing to try other things.

 

13. Doze with Donna advises parents to read the plan carefully before embarking on any sleep training/new routines/behavioural changes.

 

14. Doze with Donna follow up email and text service includes unlimited text and email support for clients following their initial consultation or home support packages. Phone calls are additional aside from the 20-minute call as specified as part of the package.

 

15. Doze with Donna are contactable during the hours of 9am to 8pm during the support period from Mondays to Saturdays. During this time messages and emails will be responded to as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours however there may be times when I am with a client or due to personal circumstances cannot reply as quickly as this.

 

16. The Support Period is non-refundable and lasts for the designated time post consultation unless a date has been agreed otherwise. If the support is not used by the client, there is no refund available.

 

17. Any further text message support outside of the initial support package booked is charged at £50 per two-week period.

 

18. All support packages (apart from the Doze package) receive a 20-minute call free of charge during the follow up support period if needed at any point. Any additional calls or of length over 20 minutes are subject to a charge of £45/30 minutes.
